wierd clutch noise in my brother's GT 200

When my brother releases the clutch, there is this strange noise right before it finishes engaging. It only seems to happen when he's starting out from a stop. It does not happen releasing the clutch in neutral, or when the engine is off. I'm an automatic guy, so I'm not really sure what to think. I have a couple videos of the noise (one inside, one outside), it's a bit louder/easier to hear in the seconed video. Your help is very appreciated, thanks!
