Usually salvage yards have a short warrantee period. Take it back if there was antifreeze in the oil. No personal knowledge but I have heard that if water, meaning antifreeze, is in the oil for any length of time the bearings get rusty. I may take a year or even longer but you're engine will be on limited time.
