Siemens pm122 700 1990

Contrary to what the parts guy said and an internet search gave, the Siemens pm122-1 blower motor will not fit a 1990 740 GL .Did have a question about an aux. eclectric fan though. I recently installed one in front of my condenser, behind the grill. It is pulling air away from the condenser, should it be blowing towards the condenser. If so how do I change the direction. I am not overly concerned with it runnig constantly as I live in Tampa where we get about 5 mos of 90+ degrees and I will disconnect it when our so called fall weather gets here.
