Overdrive problem, cannot find relay........ 700 1990

It probably wouldn't hurt to resolder all the connections if you are set up to do that, but first, I would try this:

Put it back in, turn the key to RUN without actually starting it. Then I believe that you should be able to push the button and hear\feel the relay click. I'm not 100% positive that that works with he car off (my 740 isn't here right now).

I have always had a spare to swap in when this has happened to me and it always turned out to be the relay in both my 240s and my 740. I have a few of them if you need a used one.
