Broken tranny mount 200 1989

I have an '89 240 that, unfortunately, had an automatic transmission. While I had exhaust work done today, the tech pointed out that I have a broken transmission mount. After driving it out, I noted some weird noises even though the car was running well.

I did manage to limp home. Questions:

1. Is it ok to drive it about 10 miles to the shop?

2. How much might I have damaged it by driving? The car seems to shift ok but is making these bucking noises.

thanks...mike

(oh, and what's a fair price to fix a broken transmission mount?
