anyone been successful making their own power stearing rack lines? 200 1989

dear brickboard,

my 89 240 dl has 2 power stearing fluid lines on the front of the power stearing tube. They are each about a foot long or so and are located down in front where the new york salt flies.

one of my lines rusted through and the other one is not looking so good.

so i am in the process of replacing them both.

my auto parts store does not cary the parts. volvo wants something like $85 for the pair.

so i was thinking of bending them up myself.

but here is the problem. my tubing flanger only makes double flared ends. it turns out that the volvo parts have a some kind of a complicated ends on them that have incorporated some fancy shape with an integrated spots for black o rings.

have any of you been successful bending up your own lines with a simpler end or should i bite the bullet and buy the volvo parts?

please advise. thank you.
