Alternator / Dash lights 200 1979

Just had the voltage regulator replaced on my 245 and a week later had to replace the alternator, both by a trusted mechanic. After replacing the alternator, my dash warning lights come up after about five minutes of driving everytime I come to a stop (or idle). This is every warning light except the oil light. The car doesn't cut out or even try to stall, but the lights do come straight up (not fade up like they did when the voltage regulator and alternator were dying). I would take it back to the mechanic but they are so slammed right now that if it's something I can tighten or do myself I'll do it. Any thoughts?
