Popping sound coming from exhaust 140-160

WHenever I downshift, coast in gear, and sometine when I shift a popping noise will come from the exhaust; like the ignition is firing out it. Timing is dead on, valves are to spec, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor are all new, as is the cam.
I posted this a while ago and the majority of responses (along with other volvo mechanics I know) said that the cam is worn. I replaced the cam(ISKY performance), lifters and pushrods and put in new rings and bearings while I was in there.
It has electronic ignition, I tried swapping the coil with a good used one but that diddn't help. I also have the IPD fuel ratio adjuster for d-jet, but richening or leaning the mix doesn't seem to help.
Really the Only thing I can think of is to put in a brand new coil and Ignitor.
Any suggestions?
