A/C Recharge question 900

I'm wondering if my A/C needs a recharge of R134, or if there may be some other problem for my '95 945.

Ambient temperature is 97F. Air from the vents is cool, but not very cold. The compressor is turning like it should.

When I checked the charge with my guages, I can't measure the high side pressure, since I can't find the high port. I've read that Volvo doesn't install a high pressure port, so I guess that applies to my model. Unless someone knows differently?

The low side static pressure with the engine off is about 98 psi. With the engine idling around 800 RPM and A/C on high the low pressure is 40 psi. The A/C line going into the firewall is breaking a sweat, but not frosting.

I'm not sure how to interpret these numbers to determine if I need to add another can of R134. Any thoughts or opinions?

Thanks,
Robert
