Two Problems, Air conditioner, and temp guage. 200 1990

A/C blower works ok. Thermostat has 2 outputs, on and off (though in 1990, it must have been an adjustable thermostat). But it doesn't cool at all, now. Is there an electrical problem I should be aware of, or has my coolant simply leaked out?

Also, my temp guage quit working. Is it on a fuse that I should check, or do I need to have the guage tested, and what else should I jiggle, adjust or replace?
