TailGate rewiring, gone bad. 200

Hoping you bricksters can help me out,
I rewired my tailgate about a month ago and after finishing tried out all my electrical stuff but forgot to check the wiper. I finally got around to using the wiper and it crawled about half way across the window and died. I decided to not go in to fix it because I hardly ever use the wiper and taking the tailgate off was a bastard the first time. The other day I was driving and I smelled something burning, I couldn't find anything so I kept driving. Today I, for whatever reason, tried to use the rear window wiper and the slider button was stuck as if it had melted then dried in place. Now my blower motor cuts out intermittently and when I went to rotate the fuse it was very hot. I'm thinking the blower and the wiper are related but the fuse box diagram says they aren't on the same circuit. If anyone can make sense of the rambling above please help me out. Thanks Guys!
