Will '92 windshield fit '75 164? 140-160

I have a '75 164 - late model year - which is in many ways identical to the 240. It has the original windshield, and I am trying to fix a rust problem at the bottom of the windshield frame.

I think this is the windshield style that is held in with a rubber gasket -- not the black windshield mastic/goo. I thought I read somewhere that this can be replaced with a newer style 240 that uses mastic. So for that matter, could I upgrade to the '92 240 style windshield? (And what about the chrome trim; can it be made to fit, too?)
