can i call someone about my alternator belt problem on my 95 945?? 900

I give up. The bushings look ok. The Gates and Dayco v belt for my 95 945 is about 1 inch too much circumference for the alternator drive belt. The other belt I assume broke off. The alternator bolts hold well and there is no play. ANy ideas guys?? Im just going to take this to a repair shop. What doesnt make sense is I replaced 4 yrs ago, myself all belts without any problems. Unfortunately I dont have the receipt of serial numbers of the belts. JOHN
