960 Cam Position Sensor replacement and burning smell? 900

Hey all,

I recently had the camshaft position sensor replaced on my 960. My mechanic said it was covered in oil and that there was an oil leak either from the sensor or around it.

Now, after the car gets up to temperature, I smell a burning plastic smell when the car is at a standstill. Before the replacement, I would smell the same smell but much less strongly.

Any ideas on what it could be? Should I just take it back to my mechanic?

Thanks,
Phil
