All the bits for electronic fuel pump 140-160

Hello all,
I found a FI tank for my 71 164 and someone to sell me a fuel pump(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VOLVO-BOSCH-FUEL-PUMP-porsche-audi-bmw-vw-mercedes-NR_W0QQitemZ7991785656QQcategoryZ33555QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).
They only need the make/model/year of the car. Since my 71 has never had FI or an electric FP in regards to hooking up to my current ignition switch, wich year pump would be the easiest? Does anyone know how to get a hold of the earlier holder that held the FP and Filter on the 72-73 164? Or measurements to get something similar made for the early fuel pump and filter. Also I assume the return line goes along the driver side? One last thing, wil I need a fuse panel from a FI car?
thanks for any info,
Tim
