Brake light switch 200 1991

Hi everyone,

So my brake light switch needs some adjustment. I've read the specs in my bentley for pedal travel to switch activation and my brake pedal needs to be pushed a bit further down to actually work. I have a 1991 with a manual transmission so I hardly ever push on the brake pedal very hard. I coast to slow down and leave enough room between me and the car in front of me. This wouldn't be a huge problem if Massholes knew how to drive correctly but most of us have no clue about proper following distances. I have people on my bumper and i'm slowing down but they can't tell and sooner or later i'll end up with somebody in my rear end and a shitty insurance settlement cause my car is worth nothing to the insurance company, but it is priceless to me. That being said, I just need a 1/8" - 1/4" to get the lights to come on a bit quicker. Now the tough part....how the heck do i get in there? how do i get an open-ended wrench in there? how do i see what i'm doing? etc?

Thanks,
Chris
