Possible to bypass AC, but engage power steering? 200

Hi, i just purchased a 1988 5 speed 240 wagon, and it is rather nice, except right before i bought it, the AC was 'recharged' by puting r134a into the old system. needless to say, this didnt work, and the compressor blew out the refrigerant rather quickly. the pulley on the compressor still spins, but i think it lost all lubrication in the process of blowing, because it makes a bit of a metallic whining sound. I wanted to bypass the AC altogether, but because the powersteering belt comes from the AC compressor pulley, i cant do that without getting a new belt, it seems. does anyone know if there are belts available for 240s with power steering and no AC, and whether or not they would fit with everything how it is now? thanks a lot for any insight anyone can give.
Justin
