Instrument cluster removal 700 1991

I have what may just turn out to ba a dumb question. How do you get the instrument cluster out of a '91 745? The cluster in this car is made more like a 940 or a 760. It looks like the top half of a stop sign. It appears to me that there is a wide black trim piece that keeps you from getting to the screws. The black trim has a little slot on the left and right sides as if something fits in there that allows you to remove the trim. I'm lost! I know how to take the cluster out of a 940 and the regular rectangle 740 with the two little black covers over the screws but this one is different.

I really need your help.

Thanks a bunch,
Tony T
