25A Fuse 200

1988 240DL B230F, 170K miles

Hi All,

I recently stalled due to the notorious corroded/blown 25A fuse near the battery. It had been held together by electrical tape for about a year (oh the shame is unbearable!), and now I'm going to put in a fuse holder.

I could only find a fuse holder for 10 gauge wire in a marine shop (as recommended by posts on this forum). It's waterproof, but it holds the glass-type fuses. Is this specifically inadvisable?

Thanks,
Dan AZ-USA
