engine mounts 200 1988

I actually have three questions. First two 88 240 and third 91 240.

First I have to replace the left (next to oil filter) motor mount and would like any tips on how to do it. I already tried once and had to take the filter off then gave up, it needs it badly.

Second question, sometimes when I come to a stop the engine surges a bit after aplying the brakes. I'm guessing it's a vacuum-brake issue, maybe the booster?

Third question, A friend has a 91 240 in need of a service light reset, how do I go about that?
