'93 940T Rear Door Glass Replacement 900 1993

The rear driver's side door window was broken yesterday when someone slammed the door while a wooden kitchen chair leg was protruding through the opening a bit farther than expected. What a mess. I removed the door panel and slid the old window's metal channel off the plastic glides that are on the lowering mechanism. I removed the metal hairpins from the plastic glides and expected the glides to slide off the metal pins like they do on the 240, but so far I haven't been able to remove them. Do I have to remove them to install a new (used) window? If so, how do I remove them? Can I use the window from a 740 in the 940? If so, which years? Anyone have a used window to sell? Thanks for the help.
