Overdrive relay location 120-130

Since taking delivery of my 123GT 12 months ago my overdrive relay has been just hanging around loosely below and beside the battery (right hand drive version). Can anyone inform me if it supposed to be located with the other two relays closest to the firewall (fog/spot light) on the side of the engine bay or screwed onto the back firewall separately? All evidence of it's real location has been covered over when the engine bay was painted by the previous owner.
