Parting out my 140s - how it ended 140-160

Thanks to readers here all the Volvos have a new home. They have all gone to a 140 enthusiast in Georgia. It was much easier to let them go to another Volvo lover than to see them go to the crusher. If you sent me an email asking about parts it has been forwarded to the new owner. If you posted to the previous message asking about parts please reread the post and learn to follow directions. (Don't bother to post flames, I won't be reading this board any more, I don't have any Volvos) My last driver was a 1980 245 Turbo with 4 speed OD and I still miss it.

I hated to see them go, but at least the crusher didn't get them and I made a couple of new friends in the process. I had to decide between restoring a 1972 145 and my 1960 Austin Healey 3000. No matter how I worked the numbers I just couldn't make it come out in favor of the 145.

I wish all of you all of you the very best of luck with your 140s. They are fantastic cars and I hate being without one.

Keep all those old bricks runnin'

Reese
