Very helpful! I can't imagine buying any car that's good for only 150K miles. Yeah, I figured the 245, if the oil has been changed on time, should have another 100K left in her at least. My mechanic has worked on the 240 series since 1975 and would be up for any fixes--but as honest and capable as he is, I don't wanna spend an inordinate amount of dough to keep the thing running.

The asking price on the 265 is 2650, BTW. The 245 seller is asking 3300. I think both are WAY on the high side--esp. the latter.
