1989 245 Engine codes

My '89 245 has 85,000 miles. Since February the Check Engine light has been going on & I have had it reset by my mechanic.

The car has been very difficult to start after it has been run & needs to have the gas pedal pressed to start it even though it is fuel injected.

The car idles rough and loses power when running & occasionaly stalls.

Since February my mechanic has made the following repairs Since February:

Intake manifold gasket
Air Mass Meter
Air Box Thermostat
Spark plugs
Ignition Coil Wire
Distributor Cap and Rotor
Spark Plug Wires

After all this yesterday I got the Check engine light again I went today and was told it is giving codes: 133 (Chech Throttle Switch) and 231 ( I believe this is to chech the manifold gasket - but I'm not 100% sure)

Any ideas what this could be causing this?
Thank you
