Hi,
Upon start-up, the overdrive arrow on my 244 (auto trans) sometimes stays on. Recently, I was unable to turn it off, and the car would not shift into OD when I got on the highway. Pulled off the next exit and managed to get it off, but it sure didn't want to. When I press the button on the shifter practically nothing happens. I can't turn it on or off. Just comes on when it feels like it. Is the problem in the shifter or somewhere else?
