Brown foam in oil 200

Three years ago, I had a shop here in Victoria BC Canada, install a new head gasket on my 1980 244 GL. Now it runs slugish and has this brown foam in the oil.... Is this the head gasket again, a cracked block, or too soon to tell. Is it expensive to do on my own? Is it a big job to fix? Is it worth it to fix? I don't think the car is worth much, is it? I have already sunk $4000 Canadian into it. Do you know of one who might buy it from me? Parts or whole. Ideas on value? Thanks! Steve
