Blower Motor replaced, still not workng 700 1989

1989 745 TiC 253000....

Bought new blower motor and went home to put it in today at lunch. It is going to be ahot one this weekend in SC....

Tested it with engine on before I put it in. attached pin connector, and touch the screw wire to the blower motor and it spun freely. Psyched. Put the unit in; finally going to have A/C for first time in a month. Turn the key and nothing. No blowing air... WHat the?? / ?A? A?W? / Fill in words appropriately. Pulled the unit out and it is not working at all. Tries to test it and nothing,,....

What is it......Please help me.
