Using 195/70 R 14 Tires on 240 Sedan? 200 1993

I usually mount the size tire specified on the tire sticker of a car. I don't care to experiment and I like predictable performance and wear over any hoped for gain. With that said, I can get a deal on some 195/70R14 Michelins a local dealer has on hand. He can get me the same tire in a 185/70R14, which is what is on the tire sticker for my '93 sedan, but they will cost $50 more. It is not enough of a savings to make it a no brainer and I do not want to be penny wise and pound foolish. So . . . does anyone know of any shortcomings in running 195R14's on stock 240 steel rims?

Thanks to all,
Rich
