cable from relay is unplugged - where does it go? 900

There is a 2-wire cable with a plug-in connector on the end, that is unplugged on my 91 940 turbo wagon. It appears to be coming from the relay mounted near the front of the shock column on the drivers side of the engine compartment. The relay is a black box with part numbers 899931 and 1323592-1 on top. The cable, judging from its curvature, must have come off the drivers side of the engine, possibly near the rear. Where does it go? I've looked around, but don't see any place that it should go, but I'm sure it does. Several months ago a mechanic changed the timing belt, and I noticed it loose then, but they denied involvement in its disconnection. Any help is greatly appreciated in locating where it plugs onto!
