Stupid tranny tune question... 200

I just picked up a beautiful '88 240 sedan for my wife. Excellent condition, no rust, frigid A/C, some misc. new parts and just broken in at 185 rounds-- only $1100! This thing needs a tranny splash as does my '92 245. They are both automatics and I picked up the tranny kits and a couple gallons of Dexron II. I've never done this on Volvos, are there any problems to avoid or be warned of? Do they take a gallon (4 quarts) of tranny fluid after the pan has been all buttoned up? I know this is probably covered somewhere on this site, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance...
