How long do factory alternators usually last?

I have a '93 940 (133K) that has what looks like its original alternator, or at least its an OEM Volvo brand one and the gray metal looks very weathered. I don't know how much longer it'll go, and I don't want to be stuck waiting for the part when it dies, so I recently bought a Bosch remanufactured one off of eBay because it was only $70 and I didn't have to CORE, whereas the remanufactured ones on the aftermarket parts sites are $190+ with $50+ COREs.

What I'd like to know is how long do your alternators usually last?
