Noise under boost 700 1989

My 780 with 2.3 turbo eng has a rattle coming from heater area it has ACC. I've been working on this noise for over a year now and have switched out just about everything connected with boost, includeing, bypass valve, the oneway valves that supply vacuum to heater/ac, boost control valve, Also tested by locking brakes and putting in drive with hood open and had a helper go into boost I could not hear the noise outside but it was loud and clear inside. It goes away under full boost and it present just when starting boost. Yes, I have retarded timing still there! Any ideas ?? Thanks
