Intermittent missing/stalling under acceleration while cold (again) ? 200 1987

Thought I had solved this problem with a new fuel pump relay on my 93’ 240 but after two good days it’s back again this morning.
Car will miss, hesitate and stall only while cold in the morning.
Only does this when cold and will idle fine until I start to accelerate from a stop.
Once the RPM’s are up it runs fine and will run fine for the rest of the day.
This problem only happens maybe one or two days out of the week.
By the time I start to diagnose the problem it runs fine so I don’t even know if it is a fuel or ignition related problem.
From my past experience it acts as though it’s starving for fuel during this time.
Are these types of intermittent missing/stalling problems usually fuel or ignition related?
Any suggestions what I should check next?

Thanks,
Dale
