Problem with / Questions about M-46 700 1990

Don't forget to check the shifter cage bushings, mine did not survive the swap, and the rubber donut benglar refers to was hitting the bottom of the shifter lever.

You may only need to swap output flanges, instead of the entire driveshaft+center bearing.

I guess I may have done a no-no by using gasket replacement gunk, but car still works approx 30k miles later, but go ahead and get the gasket since you are aware of it.
