hinky headlights 700

I posted earlier, but can't seem to find it. So I will repost. My wifes 88 has an electrical problem. When the headlights are put on high, the engine dies. When they are on low the engine runs fine, but there is a slight glow to the high beams. One of the high beam bulbs seams to have lost its seal. There is condensation in it. Is it possible that the bulb is causing the problem? I just cleaned the grounds from the battery to the frame, frame to engine (two), engine to altenator. I also cleaned the headlight terminals. I am going to replace the sealed beam, but would also like to know what other grounding points I may have missed? I had a problem earlier on with the turn signals turning on the wipers, but cleaning the grounds solved that problem. The altenator was replaced last year.
