Sunroof Brackets 700 1986

I broke the driver's side bracket for my sunroof.

It's the bracket that moves the sunroof around on the worm gear, at the back of the sunroof.

I can't seem to find a way to fix it (glue it, weld it, etc - doesn't seem to work.) - it's made of magnesium or something.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does anyone know if this part is the same or similar on different model years of the 700s?

Does anyone have one of these things they would send me?
