Surging Problems 700

Hey guys, need some help with this one...
My car is a 740 B230F 1990 with Bosch L.H 2.4 Jetronic. The car has, and still is performing well, no signs of any troubles (from reading spark plugs, coolant and oil condition).

My car has been "regularly vibrating oddly" when I sit in Drive with the foot or hand brake on. The revs fluctuate up and down, but less than 150 revs each way.(By regularly vibrating, I mean, it is almost rhythmical).

Where I am totally lost is that the car idles perfectly in neutral and park, then when I change to drive or reverse it drops revs and surges up and down. The Idle speed is roughly 1000rpm's (with the TPS set correctly and a new IAC)and the throttle screw fully undone.

I was thinking maybe the Fuel Pressure Regulator, but that would mean the the idle in neutral should also be bad, same with fuel injectors right? I am lost. Any advice would be great...

Cheers,
Brendan
