Surging Problems 700

Just having thought about this further,

It seems to be a problem with the throttle body plate/blade (whatever you want to call it) not closing properly. That would explain why it happens in Reverse and Drive and not in Park and Neutral. correct?

Logically, the IAC should take over these functions in drive and reverse, but if it is not closing, the IAC would not kick in at all.

I will find out tomorrow in any event.
