O2 Sensor replacement for 93 960 900 1993

I am replacing my catalytic converter and with it, my O2 sensor and remember reading that I can substitute the O2 sensor from a 1992 Mustang GT (V8)by splicing the wires.

Has anyone tried this successfully?

Is there a wiring diagram available?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
