5spd + o/d 1800

Ah... now everything makes sense. I was wondering how you had an automatic with 4.30 gears...

We lucked out and got the original engine/trans from the SEMA 1800 as the shop that built it is close by. The trans looks good, although I'm going to replace all of the gaskets. Unfortunately, the engine was left outside for awhile and will need a rebuild before it runs again.

But an even better option is to find a rusty hulk and buy that. Then you'll have all the parts you'll need. It's been a bit of a chore to gather together all the other parts for the swap (driveshaft, cross-member, clutch parts, etc).
