I'd back off to the fundamental components and possibilities.

I once had intermittant stumble and trouble that I isolated to that cluster of white wires grounding on the intake manifold.

Is the fuel filter new, pressure good (28lbs)? Maybe rust clogs the filter only under pressure for a few minutes. Never saw a press regulator fail except leaking.

When it's stumbling, is the exhaust rich smelling? That would again indicate the front temperature sensor connection.
