help with cutting out / stalling problem 89 245 200 1989

I'm thinking an electrical problem too. In my '89 it turned out to be corrosion in the fuse box. Mine happened on hard right turns, but sometimes the car wouldn't restart for a while afterwards.

It can't hurt to pull the fuses and clean up all the contacts with wire brush. Then replace any fuses that look funky too. Obviously, I would look at the fuel pump fuses first.

Also check the 25 amp blade fuse under the hood. These get corroded too and you will lose power to your computer and therefore the pumps.
