Oil separator replaced 200 1990

I replaced the oil separator yesterday, thanks for all the help from the postings, and the FAQ. The job went a lot easier. The old one was full of crude, weighed about twice as much as a clean new one. The car now passes the oil cap rattle test, and seems to have slight suction when i put my hand on the fill hole. The whole job took about two hours, including cleaning a very dirty throttle body.

When I start now, there is a slightly higher RPM, and then it kicks down to idle in a couple seconds after ignition. Is this normal? Idle is a little rough, the car has 240K on it, and its probably time for an injector cleaning.
