OD Not Does Not Always Engage & Transmission Slips 120-130

My J Type OD works with no problem when the drive train is cold. However, after I drive for awhile disengage the OD and attempt to reengage, it often will not engage.

When the OD does not engage the transmission often "slips" in 2nd and 3rd gears. It almost feels like the OD is trying to engage in 2nd and 3rd.

I appreciate any insight and advice. Thanks for your help.
