740 15" steelies and new tires on my 240? 200 1988

Thinking it might be time for new tires, and I never really liked the 14s on my 88 240 (vs the 15 inch alloys on my last '85 240). I can pick up some 740 15" steelies for $50 each (does this sound high?) and am thinking of some old school dog dish hub caps and 195/60/15s. Does this sound like a good setup? I'm not thrilled about buying used alloy wheels and new non-factory alloy wheels look weird and are expensive.

Looking at Tirerack it looks like Yokohama Avid H4s or Bridgestone Potenza G009 might be decent all season tires. What do you guys think? Should I go wider than 195/60/15s? Will this mess with my speedo readings?

Thanks!
