One Headlamp not working - works on high beam 700 1985

I have a 1985 760 Turbo - I'm having a problem that I have not yet tried to diagnose and am wondering if this has happened to anyone before.

The passenger headlamp (low beam) is out but does come on when the high beams are flicked. The driver side works fine in both low and high beam. The only thing I can think of is a wiring problem - a grounding problem maybe? Has anyone had this happen? Any idea how to go about trouble shooting it?

PS - I have replaced the lamp just in case.
