wiring to pre-pump question 700 1991

This is a few years ago and I may be mistaken, but if I remember right there are connections directly on the in-tank pump. You will see when you pull it, and I think it is screw posts directly on or slightly above the pump (looks like a small electric motor and sits on the bottom end of the in-tank unit). When you have pulled the unit halfways out of the tank you can also follow the leads (you now see which ones are for the pump) backwards and see if you find any connectors further back on the leads, under the covers/carpets.
