What do you guys use to really Soak a gummed up Carb?

I've had a bit of experience with Motorcycle carbs where the bowls and the lower Jets get gummed up from people letting them sit through a winter. Dropping the bowl and pulling the Jets and using the SPray Carb cleaner has always worked for me.
A friend bought a motorcycle knowing that "Tony will get it running" Well, The Carbs are a mess. Cleaned them the best I could with teh Spray stuff. The Needle valve now travels and the jets are clear. I can finally start the bike but it's still gummed up somewhere, The one carb Floods out through the air cleaner so I know the needle valve still isn't seating proper.

Getting to the point: I want to soak these things in something strong meant for desolving all this varnish and green gack, I don't see any Of-The _shelf stuff in my local Auto stores, What do you guys use?
