Stuck Injector Pintles 140-160

Yesterday I installed a set of injectors that CruzinPerformance overhauled for me in January. They didn't "fire", so I put my old ones back in, and they work. Rich Jensen of CP assumes that the pintles are stuck because they have sat so long. He suggests WD-40 and tapping the injector bodies to wake them up. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with a different method of getting them to work again? Would it be safe to use a stonger solvent? How long should I let them sit and soak?
